Morning Psalm

The eyes of all wait upon you, O LORD,*
and you give them their food in due season.
You open wide your hand*
and satisfy the needs of every living creature.

(Ps 145:16-17)

Thanks as always, Penny. "Consider the birds..." The elegance, grace and coordination of the bird - just perfectly designed for what it does - makes me think that not only does God open his hand to provided food, he opens his hand also to shower on us the gifts we need to catch it! What a bountiful God!
My sentiments exactly, Antonia! Thanks for putting it so well. I think this is why I am fascinated with birds. They are so perfectly and mysteriously designed, through which something about God shows through. Being among them as they do their thing is a real gift from God to me.
