What's on your mind?

Facebook asks this question in the line where you update your status. What's on your mind?

I have so much on my mind I can hardly keep it all straight.

Too bad I haven't been able to organize my thoughts into much written reflection here. Seasons come and seasons go and apparently I'm in a fertile-and-creative-but-disorganized season.

The short answer is that people and places are on my mind - my family, my two homes, my parishioners, my friends and colleagues, my church. My calendar is filling well into next summer with family events - such is the life of the parent of two seniors (one high school and one college), not to mention some fun events and parish life events. Life is full, my heart is full, and my schedule is full.

Which is all great, except that one needs time to rest and reflect as well. I'm hoping to get back into the reflection groove soon.  I know that I need it for my own soul's sake.

Meanwhile, really, what's on your mind? Conversation starters welcome!

  1. Blogging non-stop can make you run dry, especially when life is full. As yours is! When I was feeling like you are, I took a blog sabbatical. I think I was off for about 2 months, and when I came back I had a lot more to write about...not only for my blog, but everywhere. You might consider it. We can only produce for so long before we need to refill the well.... xoxo

    1. Thanks, Raima! You are right. I've been mostly just posting pictures lately as a way to stay connected to my commitment to public prayer while not writing much. It may well be time for a more official sabbatical. We'll see. Thanks!

  2. Hi all - I have a straight-up HTML website that I'd like to transition to Joomla. If possible, Let me install Joomla into a subfolder and create and test the website there, while keeping the existing site functioning until I'm ready to
move it over. Is possible?.. Thanks!.

  5. Hi All,.. Me creating a website for overseas students that
are in Australia circumstance that are thinking of applying
a student visa to Australia. (fyi, website is going

the Australian Embassy website advising the best way to apply those main visas and application
procedure, and so on I think this info is extremely helpful to
for many individuals and that i make this info available
on my website. Copyright is the only concerned
at the moment... If I just copy the whole article "without" making any amendments, including be sure to reference all details where
