Playing Tourist/Prayer for Young Persons

So I am in New York. And yesterday we were in Boston for an audition there. As always, I took my camera. This embarrasses my son.  "Nothing says tourist like someone snapping away all day." He, of course, is planning to be a resident in one of these fair cities, starting next year.  Who wants to look like a tourist?

Nonetheless, I'm enjoying snapping away. Photos will show up here sooner or later.

Meanwhile, here's my prayer for today: A prayer for young persons from the Book of Common Prayer:

God our Father, you see your children growing up in an
unsteady and confusing world: Show them that your ways
give more life than the ways of the world, and that following
you is better than chasing after selfish goals. Help them to
take failure, not as a measure of their worth, but as a chance
for a new start. Give them strength to hold their faith in you,
and to keep alive their joy in your creation; through Jesus
Christ our Lord. Amen.
