The Eleventh Day of Christmas: Mediaeval Baebes

Excuse the tree, but here are the Mediaeval Baebes singing I Sing of a Maiden at a Renaissance fair in Maryland a few years ago. This shows the energy of Medieval dance music that celebrates Mary - "such a lady God's mother be."

You don't owe us an apology about the tree. Your camera work is so good that if you had recorded the song, there would be no tree. This is indeed an energetic rendition of I Sing Of A Maiden by the Mediaeval Baebes. An interesting group. Their version of Gaudete! pops up on the YouTube display after one sees the Gaudete! that you posted. A little less energetic than this link, but still interesting to hear.
Oh, I didn't take the video. Got it off YouTube. But I am a big fan of the Mediaeval Baebes. The only thing I don't like about their rendition of Gaudete! is that there's no bass, which I think adds a lot to the song. I gather that they play regularly at Renaissance Festivals around the country.
