I Heart New York



This is the One World Trade Center Building, still under construction in Manhattan. 
I took this photo in July. As of August 30, the building has now "topped out" at 104 floors 
and is scheduled to open in about a year.
Once again, a "World Trade Center" building is dominating the skyline.

Here's a link to some photos of the building from different heights and angles and viewpoints from Buzzfeed.  There's no place like New York.

My prayers are with those who mourn again today.

Perpetua, you've said just what I would have said! The images are awesome (and I don't mean that in the overused, popular sense; I feel awe). The word Resurrection springs to mind. "Behold, I make all things new." Kyrie eleison

Thanks, Perpetua and Antonia. I was pretty awed by those photos, too. That place means a lot of things to a lot of people, but I too like the idea of resurrection!
