Mixed Messages

Jeffrey and I saw this garden gate in the Fenway Victory Gardens in Boston. Somehow the lock doesn't make the garden look very welcoming, despite the sweet angel sign.

We do this a lot, don't we? We say we are welcoming, but we're not really. What if just anybody came in?
