An absolutely incredible photograph Penny. The wings are so very beautiful, with amazing patterns on their see-through fabric. The body looks rather grotesque by comparison. The insect world is truly astonishing isn't it?
Thanks, Ray. I know you're not a huge fan of insects, but they are fascinating creatures as evidenced by this particular specimen. Yes, the wings are so delicate and the body is clunky. I expect if I had wings, they would also be much better looking than the rest of me!
