Friday afternoon fountain break

This is one of those traditional "wedding cake" fountain - this one in downtown Roanoke, Virginia.  I took this photo on a hot day in late July - we came walking around the corner to catch a couple of grownups playing in the fountain before the cops came by to roust them out.  The woman is hidden behind the fountain's supporting column.

Today the weather is overcast and much cooler than it has been this fall.  So here's a blast back to those lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer.
