Friday afternoon fountain break

This is a fountain in Our Nation's Capital, at the Korean War Memorial on the National Mall.  The fountain, a little like the Women's Table fountain at Yale, is large and round and flat and the water cascades over and down the sides.  This one is much larger and much shallower and as you can see it makes an excellent bird bath for starlings and even little sparrows.

Even though Veteran's Day was yesterday, I thought I'd use a fountain connected to veterans this week.
