Nearly Wordless Wednesday: Fluff


I have no idea what this is. (Click the photo to enlarge.) It's a vine, so it's not anything like a dandelion. Anybody know?

It looks as if it might be some variety of clematis Penny. You'd need to see it earlier in the year, or at least in leaf to get a better idea.
There are a number of climbers which have this form of seedhead.

Ray, I was thinking clematis. But this was my first visit to the park where I saw this, so who knows. Thanks for the suggestion, though!
