What wondrous love is this

O my soul?

What wondrous love is this

that caused the Lord of bliss

to bear the dreadful curse

for my soul?

This is probably my favorite hymn. I'm a big fan of classic shapenote music and this particular hymn always stirs my soul.

However, I heard this modern arrangement sung by this group of Yale students (Living Water is the group's name) and I have to admit it moved me.  So I offer it for this morning's Morning Prayer. Let me know what you think.
