Penny, I LOVE ducklings! Thank you. :-)
You are certainly welcome! It was such fun watching them! I was thrilled to be able to get some good shots.

What little sweeties. They look lovely and they sound lovely too. Though, since I live in Aylesbury, people might suspect my motives for loving ducks.
Not true, honestly. I'm a vegetarian.
Ha ha, Ray! People are funny about ducks in all sorts of ways. Is Aylesbury known for pate or something of that sort? I haven't made a connection between Aylesbury and ducks, but then why should I? Can you enlighten me?

These are really sweet and the neighborhood all goes out to get a peek at them every day while dog walking etc. By being very patient, I was able to get relatively close over the course of a half hour or so, moving in a little every few minutes.

Just caught up with your comment Penny.
The Aylesbury Duck is a rare (once extinct, now recovered) breed of pure white duck.
It is our town symbol and there is a "duck" society, not alas for the preservation of the species, which holds an annual dinner, where said duck is on the menu.
Sadly this year's dinner was held at St. M's. Very colourful, if the photos are anything to go by, but from my view, just not very nice!
Oh, my. I see your point.
